An intercepted passport that was smuggled into the country.
Age of majority reduced to 18 years of age. Certain sections of the Children’s Act of 2005 came into effect on 1 July 2007.
The Act now determines that a child becomes a major on reaching the age of 18.
The Age of Majority Act, 1972 has been repealed.
Contractual implications
Persons who are 18 years and older can now sign legally binding contracts without the assistance of their legal guardian.
For the bank this means that persons 18 years and older can now enter into loan agreements and sign collateral documentation without assistance.

What is the definition of fraud?
Fraud is the unlawful and intentional make of a misrepresentation
which cause actual prejudice or which is potentially prejudicial
to another. It is the use of a false representation to gain an unjust advantage or benefit.

Identity Theft
An "identity switch" can be accomplished in several ways. In the photo on the left a person succeeded to smuggle a second passport into the country but was caught after he tried to make use of this document.
Identity Theft is inherently not possible, but this term is used to describe the practice where one person pretend to be somebody else and to make use of this identity to benefit or steal.

circumstances.
- Your defense must be directed
only at your attacker and not
a third party.
